The Sheridan County Museum is pleased to introduce "E. W. Gollings", a sculpture by Marylee M. Moreland. The eight-foot tall monument proudly stands in front of the Sheridan County Museum. The sculpture is based on a photograph (shown above) of Elling William “Bill” Gollings taken May 2, 1926, on Pass Creek just north of Sheridan County in Montana.
To raise funds for the monument, the Museum is selling limited edition maquette castings of it, as well as accepting additional donations. Each maquette sells for $4,000.00, plus applicable taxes and shipping, with $2,670.00 going towards the monument. The maquette measures 19" tall x 6.5" wide x 6" deep, not including the walnut base. The edition size of the maquettes is 35 castings.
