This 126 page book contains 221 historic photos from the SCHS Memory Book Project and the Wyoming Room's photo collections at the SCFPL, accompanied by detailed descriptions.  Over 4,000 photographs loaned by more than 100 people have been scanned for the Sheridan County Memory Book Project which was funded by ERA-Carroll Realty and the Homer A. and Mildred S. Scott Foundation.  IMAGES of America SHERIDAN showcases over 175 of those images, providing a unique glimpse into Sheridan's early days.

The Authors:

Pat Blair was a reporter at The Sheridan Press for 11 years before becoming a freelance writer covering the community’s recent and past history.  Pat is also a past recipient of a WSHS award for outstanding coverage of our area history.  Dana Prater is director and curator of the Sheridan County Historical Society Museum.  She originated and implemented the Sheridan County Memory Book Project, and has scanned over 4,000 photos since it began in 2002.

About the book:
